Prepare for a Shed Removal Estimate
A useful estimate starts with the shed, the base, and the route out.

Measure the structure
Record the approximate length, width, and wall height. Note roof overhangs, attached lean-tos, shelves, and anything built against the shed.
Photograph five views
- The front and doorway
- Both side walls
- The rear wall
- The roof and any damaged section
- The entire route from shed to loading area
Identify the base
Look for skids, a wood platform, blocks, pavers, anchors, piers, or a concrete slab. Do not crawl under an unstable structure to investigate.
List what is inside
Separate what you will keep from what may need removal. Flag paint, chemicals, fuel, propane, batteries, and anything unidentified. Those items are not treated as ordinary shed debris.
